Changes.
Im loving the work, the people are great...but im still a new person in a foreign town. Not like home where if i have nothing to do I can just call someone up and go for a java or talk about whats on my mind. I think what it boils down to is missng the convenience of how things "used to be." For the same reason why someone may go to a gym or restaurant that they really arent that fond of because its within close proximmity to their house or cheaper prices/rates.
Change forces a person to appreciate what they once had and what they have now obtained. Change puts everything into perspective, gives you an opportunity to step away from your former existance and take a retrospecitive look into what was working, what was not and how you can make things better in similar scenarios in the future.
Possibly why women are known to change their hairstyle after a bad breakup, its just something new. Buying some new clothes, giving yourself a fresh start and feeling good about yourself. For guys, I dont know how they express change really. I know its going to be a tough go for me in the long run, but one has to have to courage to embrace new frontiers.
"The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.”
Kinda deep, let me break that down for you in small town term:
